Hiking Chamonix to Le Flègére Gondola, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Distance: 4 miles / 6.4 km (one way)
Elevation: 2,625 ft / 800 m
Start: downtown Chamonix
Finish: At Flègére Gondola: You will need to pay for a gondola pass to take the Gondola into Les Praz. From there, take the bus or train back to Chamonix. Alternatively, retrace your steps back to Chamonix.
Food: Half way up stop at Chalet de Le Floria or at L’Adret (Flègére Gondola area) at the top.
Trail: Dirt single track/dirt road ending at ski slopes
